Lucknow: Class 10 student Deepali Kannoujia, 16, is on cloud nine after coming to know about her selection for a prestigious scholarship, US department of state’s Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) programme, which invites high school students from countries of strategic importance to the US for an academic year, reports Isha Jain. Daughter of a washerwoman, Deepali is the youngest among four siblings.
